(6) merry christmas...
Wishing Everyone a Very Blessed Christmas!
Yep... I'm still up cos we came home from the midnight service at 1am and nobody wanted to go to bed yet.
I really hope everyone remembers the true meaning and spirit of Christmas. Teenagers today are so busy shopping for x'mas gifts for their friends. Yes, it's really nice to remember your friends in this season of giving and sharing. But what about the teens whose parents have financial difficulties or constraints? I think these teens are under tremendous pressure to give as well. And sometimes, one gets a terrible headache from the rushing about town just to get presents for everyone and anyone. Perhaps a personally-made card or gift will be treasured even more by the recipient... Well, I still have my kids' (yeah, I call them kids) stuff which they made when they were kids!
PSST!! 74 yr-old mother-in-law was really high tonight! Super-hyper! She claimed she was not drunk! Nah... she was just very very happy!
I'm happy too, though I can't say much about my waistline. Couldn't fit into the outfit I wanted to wear for the midnight service. Sigh... too much feasting and drinking :(
