(166) noobs...
The in-laws have been over for dinner for 4 consecutive Saturdays. Planning the menus is quite easy but it can be quite a daunting task entertaining the old folks. Afterall, they just sit around, watch tv and sip chinese tea that's brewed in little teapots and served in tiny teacups. LOL, last Saturday was definitely an eye-opener for them when I introduced them to the exciting world of...
Now they finally understood what Laogong and I meant whenever we told them we 'spoke' with Judith via the computer! They saw a webcam for the first time that night. Their eyes literally popped and their jaws hung low when they saw Judith 'live'! When they heard her screaming 'Ah Ma' and 'Kong Kong', they almost fell off their chairs!
When the in-laws next come, should I introduce them to the 'Dead Rising' zombies on Ben's Xbox 360?!

(165) good things come in pairs...
So Emily has got a place in the course she wanted in Temasek Polytechnic. As she had scored 9 pts for her L1R5 raw score, some people think she's crazy not to go the junior college route. But it's ok with Laogong and I. Afterall, the university option is still open.
And BTG has got a place in the same course in the same poly! Crazy lah, these two cousins always end up together?! BTG might as well move in with us and 'borrow' Judith's bed, cupboards, drawers, study table and everything else!
