Hahaha! This post is specially for the CHAIRMAN of big-mama's fan club! Actually my NUMBER 1 FAN is BRENDA KOR JIAYING, my niece, while Mr Chairman suddenly appeared from nowhere! ;)
After picking Em from school, we went to BATA to buy her a new pair of school shoes as there were too many holes in her old pair. Fussy girl... even her school shoes must be of a certain design cos she said she didn't want to look like a nerd! Anyway we rushed through the shoe shopping so that we wouldn't be late to pick Jon. Actually we shouldn't have bothered cos his Legion meeting ended late, as usual.
Whilst waiting in the SJI canteen, Em and I saw Darrick but he was sort of shy in acknowledging this aunt of his! Then we saw a boy who looked like Wang Guan... but we weren't too sure at first cos he looked kind of different from the photos in WG's blog. Hmmm, the boy was taller, slimmer and more 'shuai'. Later, Darrick came up and pointed him out to us, 'Chairman, chairman of fan club!!!'
Ahhhh, I thought boys nowadays are very daring! Aiyoh... so disappointing leh! Mr Chairman did not rush over to me! He did not 'swoon' over me! There was no photo-snapping frenzy, no flowers, no clamouring for my autograph! Some more, I am the 'zhangbei'! :(
Anyway, I think WG was just too shy to come over to say 'hello'. Hahaha... actually I didn't wave to WG first cos I wanted to see if he knew I was in the canteen! He must gone up to Darrick to confirm if that woman (where's the white hair?) is indeed big-mama!!
